Hi, I’m margo.
Since 2012, I have been creating, filming, and editing content. I started creating short films with my friends at a young age. Soon, I started getting recognized by the community and I began making content for local businesses and organizations.
As high school rolled around, my school offered a number of opportunities for me to expand my portfolio. As the editor of my newspaper, an active member in my community and an honor role student, I decided all that wasn’t enough.
In my senior year of high school, I created a news broadcast on my own time with my own equipment. I wrote scripts, directed, filmed, and edited each five-minute-long video. I then published them every Friday for the students and community to watch. To this day, Pioneer News is still running and successful!
In 2019, I began my education at Marquette University and decided to continue my studies in the digital media realm, but also dive into the world of advertising. Immediately, I fell in love with the creative process as well as the strategic side.
I finished up my senior year of college and worked as an intern at SHARP Literacy as their marketing intern. I graduated in the spring of 2023 and continued my journey in marketing and content production.
Shortly after graduation, I began working at Quad in July of 2023 as a corporate trainee in a rotational program. My first rotation, I worked in a photo studio as a photo, stylist, merchandise and production assistant. I acquired numerous skills related to working in a large corporation and creating content in a studio!
In September of 2024, I started my second rotation as an office manager in Quad’s New York City office. It has been a dream not only to live in this city, but to be learning so much every day! Though this rotation has challenged me in so many ways, I know I will forever be thankful for this time of my life.
So far, I have learned to manage an office by providing technical support, administrative duties, scheduling and coordination, as well as event planning. Because this office is primarily our marketing team, it has allowed me to get a feel for branding, which is ultimately where I’d like to end up. I love New York and I love this job!
